These terms govern your use of MacroLens Colombo ("MacroLens", "the service"), a free, open-access macro-economic research terminal for Sri Lanka at macrolens.lk. By creating an account, you agree to them.
MacroLens aggregates publicly published Sri Lankan macro-economic data (from the CBSL, Census & Statistics Department, SLPA, SLTDA, the Department of Meteorology, the CSE and similar primary publishers), presents it on a live desk, and models how macro indicators transmit to CSE sectors. Every data block carries its source and publication date.
MacroLens is a research and modelling tool. Nothing on the site is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security. Sector sensitivities, lags and scenario outputs are analyst estimates, disclosed as such - they are not fitted statistical coefficients. Investment decisions you make are your own.
The full terminal is free and open without an account. Create an optional account if you want the daily Morning Desk Note. No payment card or trial is needed. The daily Morning Desk Note is sent to registered users; each email includes a one-click unsubscribe option that leaves terminal access unchanged. Existing paid subscriptions are being stopped, with no new paid checkout.
Your account is personal to you. Do not share login credentials, scrape or republish the terminal's compiled analysis as your own product, or use the service for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
We work to keep the desk current and correct, and stamp every figure with its source and date - but data is provided "as is", publishers revise their own numbers, and we do not warrant uninterrupted availability or freedom from error.
To the maximum extent the law allows, MacroLens is not liable for trading losses or other indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid in the three months before the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
